| I and a friend of mine,
Ed Hiltenbrandt, published this website in 1998, as a non-commercial, entertainment,
fun site, and I have kept the site pristine until now, when I realized
that the perpetuation of our moment--the PT Boaters Legacy--requires financing
in order to be preserved. Therefore, in order to solicit funding
for the completion of the PT Boat Restoration Project, I am selling PT
Boat T Shirts, and affiliating with three to four reputable on-line gambling
casinos, Danni's Hard Drive, and a major credit card company. Seventy-five
percent of the T-Shirt profits will go to the restoration project.
The gambling casinos will pay a 30% commission on all monies lost on their sites, and Nextcard will pay a flat $40 commission on all new accounts opened. I will donate 80% of all monies generated through these affiliations to the restoration project. Please do not consider this a prostitution of my site, merely a matter of expediency in my attempt to do my part in the restoration of a World War II PT Boat.
